Academic Education
Denver Health’s residency program trains pharmacy students from the University of Colorado’s School of Pharmacy and Regis University’s School of Pharmacy. These students have introductory pharmacy practice experiences and advanced pharmacy practice experiences as fourth year students at Denver Health’s inpatient and outpatient pharmacies.
Students also have rotations in Denver Health’s family health centers, a series of eight clinics in underserved communities that serve more than 120,000 patients annually. Students in pharmacy technician training programs receive training at Denver Health’s pharmacy department and complete their inpatient pharmacy rotations.
