I Want To
The Mental Health Services team of more than 20 psychologists and psychiatrists assesses, evaluates and treats patients with emotional and substance abuse disorders in a supportive and healing environment. Our comprehensive services include adult and adolescent inpatient services, community detoxification, outpatient therapy programs, psychiatric emergency services, and mobile crisis services.
Our adolescent and child psychiatry program consists of a 16-bed inpatient unit for children in need of hospitalization, as well as outpatient therapy. The STEP Program (Substance Abuse Treatment Education and Prevention Program) provides outpatient, psychiatric and substance abuse treatment to clients ages 12-21.
Adults experiencing behavioral problems or having difficulties due to a combination of mental, physical or substance abuse problems are cared for on our 41-bed dedicated hospital unit. Patients work with their providers to develop an action plan and implement strategies to improve their situation. At scheduled appointments, the adult mental health team provides family, group, and individual therapy, along with medical evaluation treatment focusing on improving self-care, social and emotional functioning.
