Diabetes & Endocrinology

The Endocrinology Division works to improve the health of patients with hormonal disorders such as:

• diabetes mellitus,
• thyroid diseases,
• hyperlipidemia,
• osteoporosis,
• reproductive endocrine disorders,
• pituitary disorders,
• adrenal disorders, and
• obesity and metabolic syndrome.

Endocrinology services are provided at three locations including the Davis Clinic, the Denver Health Medical Plan Clinic, and at the Sandos Westside Neighborhood Health Center. Endocrinology also practices out of the mian hospital for inpatient cases.

Denver Health's Endocrine Division was recognized as one of the top 50 in the country by U.S. News and World Report in 2005 and 2006. Physicians in the Endocrine Division have received “Best Doctors in Denver” recognition by 5280 Magazine in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
