Float Pool Certified Nursing Assistant
Denver Health offers an exciting, flexible opportunity for Certified Nursing Assistants to utilize their experience at a busy, urban hospital. Denver Health is a teaching facility as well as a Level One Trauma Center.
The Float Team Certified Nursing Assistant staff provides direct care to a unique and diverse population of patients. They have the opportunity to staff across three divisions, including Maternal/Child, Acute Care, and Critical Care. Certified Nursing Assistant responsibilities include ADL’s, blood glucose testing, vital signs, direct observation of high-risk patients, and providing great customer service to patients and families.
We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistants who enjoy challenges, appreciate diversity, and embrace our mission of “Level One Care for All,” regardless of ability to pay. Applicants must have a current Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant license as well as a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification (BLS).
Shifts are flexible and include days, nights, holidays, and weekends. Staff must agree to work an average of two 12-hour shifts per week.
