The Department of Medicine at Denver Health and the Division of Neurology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (UCSOM) are recruiting a Epileptologist to join the Denver Health Neurology team. The successful candidate will be joining a group of three neurologists, who practice as part of Denver Health’s comprehensive epilepsy program. Our program’s multidisciplinary team of more than 15 specialists is dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of epilepsy and seizure disorders affecting children and adults. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Neurology and have completed an ACGME accredited Epilepsy fellowship.

Responsibilities include supervision of our 4 bed epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU), supervision of housestaff, reading/interpreting EEG and epilepsy studies and practice of general neurology. This is an academic position that emphasizes patient care, housestaff training, and clinical research. The DH Epilepsy division is part of a fully integrated network of community health centers and a Level I 525-licensed bed hospital with a mission of providing access to quality health care for all citizens of Denver regardless of ability to pay. As Colorado’s primary safety net institution, DH has provided billions of dollars in uncompensated care.
