The Position: Hand and Microvascular Surgeon
The Department of Orthopedics at Denver Health is recruiting for a full-time Hand and Microvascular Surgeon. The Hand and Microvascular service at Denver Health covers the entire spectrum of complex upper extremity trauma including microvascular flap coverage of the extremities and replantation. The service staffs a 24/7 replantation call covering the greater Rocky Mountain region and runs a Peripheral Nerve Institute attending to nerve pathologies of any complexity including brachial plexus injuries. The Hand and Microvascular service is academically productive in research and supports a microsurgical laboratory offering ongoing surgical specialty courses.
Denver Health is a nationally recognized urban safety net health care system that offers a full complement of surgical services to the citizens of the City and County of Denver as well as specialty referral services for Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region. Denver Health houses the Rocky Mountain Regional Trauma Center, an ACS verified and state designated Level I Trauma Center.
