Stephanie Thomas, MBA
Chief Operating Officer
Stephanie has dedicated her 30-year health care career to Denver Health. She has served in a variety of administrative roles and was appointed chief operating officer in 1997 when the system reorganized out from city government into a new, independent health and hospital authority. She is responsible for all hospital operations, the 911 Emergency Medical Services for Denver, and has managed more $500 million in capital improvements. Stephanie has been a key member of the executive team that led Denver Health to be viewed as a national health care model. During this time, the hospital has been recognized for its quality, resource management and accomplishments using Lean as an improvement tool.
Stephanie has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Denver and an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado.
