RMPDC Provides Tips for a Safe Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time for families and friends to gather, express gratitude and enjoy a meal together. Unfortunately, this time of year is also associated with an increased risk of food poisoning. The American Association of Poison Control Centers (AAPCC) and the Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Center (RMPDC) encourage everyone to take a few simple food safety precautions to prevent food poisoning.



Emergency Preparedness Drill Set for Monday, Oct. 19

On Monday, October 19, Denver Health will host an emergency preparedness drill in Pavilion C.  The emergency training exercise is slated to get underway at 1 p.m. and run until about 3:30 p.m. It will include first responders from local law enforcing and hospital staff.
