  • Medical graduation from Utkal University S.C.B. Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack, Orissa, India.
  • Postgrad in Orthopaedic Surgery from the National Board of Examinations, affiliated J.L.N. Hospital & Research Center, Bhilai, Madhya Pradesh, India in 2001.
  • Since then I have been actively involved in the management of orthopaedic trauma in various positions in Government run & private hospitals in Chennai City, India

Accomplishments: I have worked on a thesis titled "Upper tibial osteotomy for osteoarthristis of knee joint". My work on "Analysis of factors affecting the morbidity & mortality in elderly with proximal femur fracture" was presented at the Tamilnadu State Conference. A case report "Management of a case of bilateral complex lower limbs injury" was presented a the Chennai City meet.

Where they are now: C.S.I. Kalyani Hospital, Chennai. We are expanding the trauma services at this hospital and I wish to continue to be a part of it.

Aspirations: I have been greatly impressed by the AO. This organization has revolutionized the care of orthopaedic trauma worldwide. The AO basic course introduced me to AO. The AO advance course and the recent AO fellowship has added to my confidence and skill. In future, I wish to be actively involved with AO so as to contribute and to receive further developments in orthopaedic trauma care.
