ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders Registered Dietitians

Our registered dietitians (RD) work with each ACUTE patient on a daily basis to develop an individualized menu plan. All meals are eaten privately, under the support and supervision of an ACUTE team member.

Amy Winkelman RD  

Amy Winkelman, MA, RD, CEDRD

Amy completed her undergraduate degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, Fitness, and Health at Purdue University and is currently pursuing her graduate degree in counseling. 

She has worked with Dr. Mehler and the ACUTE team for several years as the lead clinical dietitian. She has experience in nutrition therapy in severe eating disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, obstetrics, and nephrology.

Debbie Andersen, RD  

Debbie Andersen, MS, RD, CEDRD

Debbie earned her undergraduate degree in Food Management and Nutrition with an option in Dietetics at Oregon State University. She also completed a dietetic internship and earned a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition at New York University. 

Debbie has clinical nutrition experience in severe eating disorders, diabetes, weight management, nutrition support and critical care nutrition.

Meghan Foley, RD  

Meghan Foley, RD

Meghan completed her undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from The Pennsylvania State University. She completed her dietetic internship with the Virginia/Maryland WIC program.

Meghan has clinical experience that includes severe eating disorders, nutrition support and diabetes. She also has experience in outpatient nutrition counseling for pediatrics.
