Susan L. Bennett, PhD, CEDS
Clinical Director of Psychology, ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders
Susan Bennett, Ph.D., CEDS Psychologist, Behavior Health Services, is Director of Psychology, at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders and Assistant Professor, University of Colorado School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. In addition to her administrative duties, Dr. Bennett provides clinical services as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and is also a mental health generalist. She has practiced in outpatient and inpatient settings over 13 years.
Her research is currently in the field of eating disorders. Dr. Bennett is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (local and national chapters) and the Academy for Eating Disorders.
Dr. Bennett is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Health Psychology Division of APA, the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, and the Academy for Eating Disorders.
Gillian Taylor, PsyD
Clinical Psychologist, ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders
Gillian Taylor, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of adults with severe and life-threatening eating disorders. She also has extensive training and expertise in primary care psychology and health behavior change. Dr. Taylor received her undergraduate degree from the University of Puget Sound. She received her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver. Dr. Taylor completed her pre-doctoral internship at Denver Health Medical Center, specializing in health psychology. Dr. Taylor’s research interests include adult eating disorders, medical education, and integrated healthcare.
