ACUTE Registered Dietitians

Our registered dietitians (RD) work with each ACUTE patient on a daily basis to develop an individualized menu plan. All meals are eaten privately, under the support and supervision of an ACUTE team member.

Amy Winkelman, RD

Amy completed her undergraduate degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, Fitness, and Health at Purdue University and is currently pursuing her graduate degree in counseling. 

She has worked with Dr. Mehler and the ACUTE team for several years as the lead clinical dietitian. She has experience in nutrition therapy in severe eating disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, obstetrics, and nephrology.

Debbie Andersen, MS, RD

Debbie earned her undergraduate degree in Food Management and Nutrition with an option in Dietetics at Oregon State University. She also completed a dietetic internship and earned a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition at New York University. 

Debbie has clinical nutrition experience in severe eating disorders, diabetes, weight management, nutrition support and critical care nutrition.

Jody Lind, RD

Jody earned her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics with a minor in Chemistry at Bowling Green State University. She completed her dietetic internship at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Jody’s 15 years of clinical nutrition experience include the areas of severe eating disorders, oncology, renal disease, surgery, nutrition support and critical care nutrition.
