Our Interdisciplinary Pediatrician Team
Our specialized team is made up of pediatricians, pediatric sub-specialists, advanced care providers, pediatric and neonatal nurses, pediatric pharmacists, lactation specialists, pediatric-trained respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, dedicated social workers, and child life specialists. We work together to provide high-quality care.
Pediatrician Specialties
We offer sub-specialty care in pediatric neurology and seizure treatment, pediatric infectious diseases and pediatric cardiology. In addition to pediatric surgeons available for conditions like appendicitis, we have orthopedic surgeons, pediatric ENT (ear, nose and throat) surgeons and pediatric neurosurgeons supported by a highly experienced team of pediatric anesthesiologists, nurses and support staff.
Our Pediatric Services
Pediatric Primary Care
At our Pediatrics Primary Care health centers your child will receive check-ups, vaccinations, school physicals, and care when he or she is sick or recovering from an injury. These services are offered at all 3 of our Pediatric Primary Care centers.
Pediatric Emergency Department and Urgent Care (PEDUC)
Pediatric Emergency Department and Urgent Care is a 19-bed, 24-hour emergency room and urgent care just for children. Denver Health is home to the only full-service level II pediatric trauma center in Denver.
School-Based Health Centers (SBHC)
Our 19 School-Based Health Center locations provide convenient medical care to all Denver Public Schools students, including those enrolled in Early Child Education programs, at no cost to the patient or their family. Complete a permissions waiver online to have your child seen at any of our SBHC locations.
Pediatric Dental Services
Our dedicated Pediatric Dental team provides a fun, gentle and caring approach to help children feel more relaxed at their dental visits. Our services include:

- Dental examinations and X-rays
- Fluoride and cavity treatments and more
Pediatric (Inpatient) Hospital Services
If your child needs to stay overnight in the hospital, our diverse inpatient care team of pediatricians, pediatric intensivists, neonatologists, and neonatal advance practice practitioners are experts at providing high-quality care to your child.
Connections for Kids Clinic
Recognized by the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Healthy Foster Care America, Connections for Kids multidisciplinary clinic is staffed by professionals with expertise and experience caring for the unique health care issues facing children in foster and kinship care.
Child Life Program
The Child Life program at Denver Health supports and empowers children and families during stressful experiences. Specialists work with the health care team to help children cope with hospitalization, medical procedures and treatments.

Denver Health is conveniently situated at Seventh and Bannock streets in Denver, accessible by major roadways and located near neighborhoods that have limited access to pediatric experts.
