  • Whole grains and cereals are fortified with folic acid
  • Examples of foods rich in a form of folic acid: orange juice, breakfast cereals, beans (pinto, navy, kidney, lima), lentils, garbanzo beans, spinach, strawberries, sunflower seeds, liver, wheat bread and tortillas
