Young Adult Health

What's on your mind?

Calling all young adults! What do you want from your life? Perhaps you would like to finish school, start a job, become a good parent with healthy children, or all of the above? What you all have in common is that when you are healthy, you are more likely to accomplish your goals, and empower yourself to live your best life.

Educate yourself about wellness, exercise, relationships, abstinence, sex, STDs, and birth control. We aren't trying to tell you how to live your life, just give you the information to help you make decisions about your own health.

Texts for Sexual Health Education and Empowerment

Texts for Sexual Health Education and Empowerment (t4she) is a pilot study that will implement and evaluate a patient-centered text messaging intervention. The intervention aims to increase young females’ knowledge about reproductive and sexual health, and help prevent both unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections for those that are sexually active. If you are enrolled in this study and have any questions please email sarah.leslie@dhha.org or call (303) 602-3805.

t4she is funded by a grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ - HS022143). AHRQ’s mission is to produce evidence to make health care safer, higher quality, more accessible, equitable, and affordable, and to work with the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and other partners to make sure that the evidence is understood and used.
