Denver Public Health (DPH) has provided contracted services to the City and County of Denver in epidemiologic investigation of disease since 1949.

DPH provides medical recommendations to the City for disease control, provision of direct disease control services (such as tuberculosis, HIV, and sexually transmitted disease clinics and immunizations), administration of vital records and the maintenance of vital statistics (such as births and deaths). These services are available to all City and County of Denver citizens.

DPH services include:
  • Epidemiology and Surveillance
  • Health Promotion Programs
  • HIV Prevention and Training
  • Immunization and Travel Clinic
  • Infectious Disease/AIDS Services
  • Preparedness
  • Sexually Transmitted Disease and Control Services 
  • Tuberculosis Clinic and Control Program
  • Vital Records (birth and death certificates)
