Meet Current and Past Residents


Christina Bartholomew

Christina Bartholomew (PGY1):  Christina is from Louisville, CO and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her clinical interests include ambulatory care and oncology. Christina is thrilled to be completing per PGY1 at Denver Health this year due to their multitude of learning opportunities offered and the institution’s commitment to providing high quality medical care to all patients within the community. In her free time, Christina likes to go up the mountains, take her dog on walks, spend time with family and friends, and attend performances at the Denver Center for Performing Arts.

Stephanie Hill

Stephanie Hill (PGY1):  Dr. Hill is from Waldoboro, Maine and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of New England College of Pharmacy. Her clinical interests include infectious diseases, critical care, public health and substance use disorders. Stephanie chose Denver Health because of their mission to provide high level care to every patient regardless of their socioeconomic background and the wide array of community outreach and learning opportunities. Michael Deaney

Michael Deaney (PGY1):  Dr. Deaney is from Wilmington, North Carolina, and received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. His clinical interests include infectious disease, internal medicine, ambulatory care, and academia. Michael first became interested in in the field while volunteering at a free clinic pharmacy, and later spent his extracurricular time in school in a service organization dedicated to advocating for underserved populations in the program and in the community. Michael chose to pursue residency training at Denver Health because its infrastructure and employees share that mission to serve the underserved, in addition to a variety of learning rotations with invested preceptors. In his free time, Michael enjoys exploring Denver, trying new foods, and experiencing new adventures with hiking, skiing, and white water rafting.

Elisa Worledge

Elisa Worledge (PGY1):  Elisa is from Sacramento, CA and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado, Skaggs School of Pharmacy. Her clinical interests include ambulatory care and emergency medicine. Elisa chose Denver Health because of the expansive number of learning opportunities for residents and the Denver Health mission to serve the most vulnerable in our community. Outside of residency, Elisa enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Jessica Pham

Jessica Pham (PGY2 Emergency Medicine):  Dr. Pham is from Anaheim, CA and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of California, San Francisco. She completed her PGY-1 at Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Her clinical interests include toxicology, ACLS, and pain/agitation/sedation/delirium. Jessica chose Denver Health to serve its vulnerable patient populations and to practice in an academic, interdisciplinary environment at a level I trauma center. Makenna Bishop

Makenna Bishop (PGY2 Ambulatory Care):  Dr. Bishop is from Lakewood, CO and completed her PharmD degree at CU School of Pharmacy. She went on to complete her PGY1 in a community-based program through CU School of Pharmacy and King Soopers. Her clinical interests include diabetes management, cardiology, outpatient oncology, and health disparities among underserved populations. Makenna was drawn to Denver Health since a young age after working with underserved populations as a student and, as a Colorado native, grew up wanting to employ Denver Health’s mission to provide high-quality care to all patients regardless of their socioeconomic status. Outside of pharmacy, she loves spending time with her family and pets and enjoys quiet afternoons reading with a cup of coffee.

Doan Do

Doan Do (PGY2 Critical Care):  Dr. Do is from Kansas City, Missouri. She completed her PharmD at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Pharmacy and finished her PGY-1 at Denver Health Medical Center. Her clinical interests include neurocritical care, ICU antimicrobial stewardship, and septic shock. Her previous hospital experience involves providing care to the most vulnerable populations at multiple levels. She chose Denver Health because she wanted to continue to help patients receive care they deserve regardless of their socioeconomic background. DH has a wide variety of specialties to learn from to become a truly well-rounded pharmacist, and the organization has preceptors that are amazing and want to help their residents succeed. Kira Voyer

Kira Voyer (PGY2 Infectious Diseases):  Dr. Voyer is from Rochester, New York, and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She completed her PGY-1 at Denver Health Medical Center. Her clinical interests include HIV, OPAT, AMS, substance use disorders and public health. Kira chose Denver Health because of the opportunity to continue to serve vulnerable patients in Colorado’s premier safety net institution, the academically challenging environment, and the wide variety of ID rotations available. Outside of residency, Kira likes to travel around Colorado and surrounding states, hike, ski, eat (and cook) food, and spend time with her friends and family. Twitter: @kiraglutide.
