Dr. Iams’s main area of focus at Denver Health is treatment of arthritis conditions of the hip and knee. This entails nonsurgical and surgical management. His residency training in Orthopedic Surgery was completed at the University of Florida. After completion of his general Orthopedic training he spent a year of training dedicated to hip and knee reconstruction. He took on a position as a faculty member and assistant professor in the department of Orthopedics at the University of Florida with a focus on hip and knee replacement surgery. After 3 years at the University of Florida, Dr. Iams took the position at Denver Health. At Denver Health his main areas of interest are in primary and revision total hip and knee arthroplasty. His goal is to help patient feel better by improving pain and a safe return to function.
