Denver Health (DH) is seeking a Director of Newborn Services (board certified in neonatal-perinatal medicine) to join a group of three neonatologists. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at DH is a Level III NICU with 20 beds, an average of 325 admissions/year, and an average daily census of 11. The NICU is supported by four maternal-fetal medicine specialists and several on-site pediatric subspecialists including surgery, neurosurgery, radiology, anesthesia, and neurology. NICU staff provide clinical services including mechanical ventilation, total body cooling, and 24hr video EEG monitoring.

DH delivers more than 3,000 babies each year and has a Level I/II nursery staffed by pediatricians. DH also has a large Pediatric Inpatient Unit and a thriving Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with pediatric intensivists.

The ideal candidate must be committed to both excellent patient care and clinical education. Administrative experience is preferred and post fellowship clinical experience is required.
