Denver Health Named 2017 Most Wired

Hospitals Use Technology to Partner with Patients on Health

For the 12th year in a row, Denver Health has been recognized as a “Most Wired” health care system by the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Health Forum. With last year’s launch of Epic and other numerous communication improvements between staff and patients, Denver Health is one of only eight other hospitals in Colorado to earn the distinction.

Denver Public Health Seeks Volunteers for Exercise on June 17

This June, Denver Public Health, Denver Environmental Health and other local response partners, are participating in a full-scale, statewide Public Health Emergency Dispensing Exercise (PHED Ex 2017) to practice quickly giving away emergency medications to people during a health crisis.

Pediatric Lecture Series

Denver Health is excited to launch a new monthly live lecture and webinar series for EMS providers. Lectures will take place the third Thursday of every month from 6-7pm in Rita Bass Classrooms A/B and be available via live webinar.  Pediatric trauma and medical EMS CE will be offered (categorized for Colorado and National Registry recertification hours).  Nursing CNE will be offered, as well, but lectures are geared for prehospital providers.  Many lectures will be case reviews.
