Denver Health's Director of Surgery Intensive Care Unit, Clay Cothren Burlew, MD will present Pelvic Trauma. Dr. Cothren Burlew will discuss the indications for intervention and options for hemorrhage control for patients with pelvic fracture related hemorrhage, and the technique of preperitoneal pelvic packing for hemorrhage control. Denver Health's Rocky Mountain Regional Level I Trauma Center is committed to providing trauma
education to trauma centers, hospitals, physicians, and pre-hospital agencies throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.Our physicians and nurses travel to outlying hospitals to provide educational lectures for health care providers. Many of these lectures are also available online, making them accessible to our rural healthcare partners.
