What fees are associated with attending the Denver Health Lean Academy?
Our fees vary by course and are listed on our main landing page.

What is included in the course fee?
Registration fees include the following: course tuition, instructional materials, and lunch for each day of instruction. Hotel and travel expenses are not included.

Are there any discounts available for the courses fees?
A 10% group discount is available to any organization that has participants attending more than 10 days combined. Please contact us for further details and qualifications. If you are an employee of a government agency, please contact us directly for discount information. An "early bird" discount is available for those registering 60 days prior to a course start date. Other discounted rates may apply as applicable to specific promotions. Only one discount may apply per registration.

What organizations should attend the Denver Health Lean Academy?
Our courses are designed to accommodate the full spectrum of Lean organizations, from those that are beginning to consider a cultural change and a Lean journey to those well advanced upon the lean transformation continuum.

Where do Lean training courses take place?
Classroom activities are conducted at the administration building on the Denver Health campus in Denver, Colorado. You will be contacted prior to your program with logistics. Field trips are a part of some of the courses and take place in clinical and non-clinical settings throughout the Denver Health Campus.

What is Lean Systems Improvement at Denver Health?
Lean Systems Improvement (LSI) at Denver Health is the core team of Lean facilitators and trainers who are leading the systematic approach of Lean deployment enterprise-wide, including curriculum and training of the Lean methodology utilized by Denver Health.  These lean leaders are also the instructors in the Denver Health Lean Academy courses along with other lean practitioners from various areas across the organization. 

What is the Denver Health Lean Academy cancellation policy?
Full refunds will be issued for any cancellation made 28+ days before the course start date or prior. Cancellations within 28 days of the course start date are not eligible for a refund. If you need to cancel within 28 days, you may transfer your registration to a future course.  Participants will be responsible for any price difference of the future course selected. Transferred registrations are not eligible for discounted rates. 

What is the Denver Health Lean Academy substitute policy?
A course registration may be transferred to an alternate participant at any time.  Please notify us if transferring a registration

Will I receive continuing education credits (CEU) or a certificate of completion?
Each participant will receive a certificate of completion for each course. CEUs are available and require participants to complete an evaluation.

Note: Denver Health and Hospital Authority is an approved provider of continuing education by the Western Multi-State Division, an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nursing Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Participants must attend the entire event and complete an evaluation to receive a Certificate of Attendance. We do not provide other forms of continuing education credit. Other accrediting bodies may accept CNE, at their discretion.
