Denver Health strives to be a leader in improving health and conducts research studies to contribute to medical research. Research at Denver Health encompasses basic, translational, clinical, and quality research aimed at answering the questions behind a number of diseases.

As University of Colorado faculty members, Denver Health physicians conduct extensive research, much of it focused on improvements in clinical care. Denver Health doctors receive an average of $30 — $35 million annually in research funding to further high quality health care for all. Research funding comes from foundations, trusts, grants, government agencies, private corporations and individuals.

Many of Denver Health physicians are renowned in their fields for their innovative new approaches to solving medical dilemmas. Denver Health is a training site for medical residents in 28 specialties, and offers on the job training in 22 allied health care fields.

Physicians, healthcare providers and research staff members at Denver Health are involved in various studies to keep on the cutting edge of medicine, clinical care and science.
