About Pelvic Pain
Pelvic pain is pain located between the belly button and the hips and groin. If it lasts for six months or more it is called chronic pelvic pain. It is estimated that 1 in 4 women will have chronic vulvar pain at some time during their life. Many women say they feel “broken” when they have suffered for months or even years from pelvic pain which may also lead to vulvar pain, inability to engage in normal activities and painful sexual activity.
