COVID-19 Vaccine Information for Your Appointment and Visit at Denver Health

Currently, all Coloradans aged 6 months and over are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. These vaccines are safe and effective, and can be administered on the same day as other vaccines, including flu. They are still important for protecting individuals and communities from the spread of the virus. Everyone is eligible for COVID-19 services, no matter their immigration status. A Social Security number and/or government ID may be requested, but is NOT required to get a vaccine.

COVID-19 vaccines are no longer free since the federal public health emergency declaration ended in May 2023. Out-of-pocket costs may vary under different insurance plans and for patients who are uninsured and underinsured.

If you are a Denver Health patient, you can schedule a vaccination appointment through MyChart or by calling 303-436-7000 to be connected to our call center for scheduling. If you are not a Denver Health patient, you can receive the vaccine at Denver Health’s travel and immunization clinic by calling 303-602-3520. Appointments may be limited. You can also get an updated COVID-19 vaccine at local pharmacies or clinics that are in-network with your insurance.
