On July 1, 2020, Denver Health became the official clinical home base for the Primary Care program – all primary care trainees have their continuity clinics based in the Denver Health system, and their outpatient clinical focus lives in the Denver Health system as much as possible.




Welcome to Denver Health! We are excited to have you join us for rotations during your residency program. If you are a CU School of Medicine new intern attending the New Intern Orientation at Denver Health on June 16 or 17, 2021, please be sure to complete the following pre-orientation assignments PRIOR to attending orientation:

Denver Community Health Services Family Medicine Residency is a vibrant young program built on a solid foundation of community service and medical education.




Important Dates

Applications for Cohort No. 3 will open April 1, 2025.
ASPIRe Cohort No. 3 (anticipated): September 2025-August 2026.

Personal Interviews for selected applicants will be offered on a rolling basis until available slots are filled. Early application submission is advised.

 

Application Requirements and Eligibility

Demonstrated desire to train and work in a safety net system that provides care to a population with socioeconomic determinants of health challenges.




Program Start Date: October 2025
Program End Date: July 1, 2026

We will accept applications for the 2025-2026 cohort starting February 3, 2025, and ending February 28, 2025.

Please apply early to the program, we fill interview spots on a rolling basis.
