Denver Health Medical Center is seeking a Spine Surgeon. This academic position encompasses a broad spectrum of spinal pathology focusing on spinal trauma and adult degenerative disorders. Partnership would be established with the current Chief of Orthopedic Spine Surgery and the Neurosurgical Division.
The Orthopedic and Neurosurgery “Spine Team” has been recognized as a model for the Nation by the American College of Surgeons. A formal affiliation with the University of Colorado, School of Medicine means faculty surgeons receive an academic appointment to help guide the resident training program for Orthopedic Surgery.
MD Candidates should be BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery and have completed fellowship training in Spine Surgery. Ideal candidates will have a strong desire for consistent involvement in ongoing academic productivity, strong patient-care and surgical skills and a strong, committed interest to education. A high ethical and moral standard is required. Honesty, integrity, and reliability are demanded of this future teammate who should possess a passion to serve the under-served.
