Denver Health Joins PACT AI as Founding Member

September 01, 2026

Denver Health is committed to leveraging technology and innovation to better serve its community and provide high-quality care. We are proud to announce that we are a founding member of the newly established Partnership for Assurance, Credibility, and Trust on AI (PACT AI).

As AI continues to transform healthcare, Denver Health recognizes that responsible deployment starts with ensuring these technologies are evaluated thoughtfully and perform as intended in real-world settings. Through its participation in PACT AI, Denver Health will collaborate with enterprises, technical experts, AI insurers and civil society leaders to advance shared approaches for evaluating AI and building greater confidence in its use.

“Denver Health brings a unique perspective to the future of AI because we see firsthand the opportunities and challenges technology can create for a diverse and complex patient population,” said Daniel Kortsch, MD, associate chief AI and digital health officer. “Our participation in PACT AI allows us to collaborate with leaders across sectors to advance practical, evidence-based approaches that help make AI safer, more reliable and more trustworthy for healthcare organizations and the communities they serve.”

“We need common infrastructure for credible AI assurance across the economy, and it’s especially vital in healthcare. Every single health system shouldn’t have to reinvent the wheel and waste precious time and resources figuring out how to ensure the AI they’re putting to work for patients is functioning as intended,” said Bri Treece, Executive Director of PACT AI. “We are grateful for Denver Health’s leadership in building out a robust AI assurance ecosystem, so that medical providers of all kinds can benefit from this work and have verifiable confidence in these AI systems.”

As a founding member of PACT AI, Denver Health is leading the way in establishing the science-backed standards and practices that will define trusted AI deployment.
