Donations

Our doctors, nurses, care teams and staff change lives for the better every day, but we can’t do it alone! Throughout the year, donations from our community make a huge impact on the people we serve. If you are interested in donating, thank you! We are honored by the compassionate individuals, groups and organizations who choose to support our patients by providing items or financial donations.

To make it a little easier for you, we’ve created this helpful guide outlining our donation policies and most needed items! If you or your corporation would like to make a financial donation, please visit the Denver Health Foundation for more information.

Most Needed Items

Denver Health can only accept new and unused items to protect our patients who may have weakened immune systems due to medical conditions or treatments.

Did you know that 1/3 of all babies born in Denver are born at Denver Health? Every baby born at Denver Health goes home with a bag full of essential items for their first few weeks. Some of the most needed items donors provide are:

  • Warm Blankets (24” x 36”)

For our pediatric, adolescent and adult patients, we provide a wide variety of items to increase their comfort during their stay. Our most needed items are:

  • Cozy Blankets (Throw or Twin size) Soft crocheted, knitted, fleece or quilted blankets provide a little extra comfort to our patients while they are away from home.

Our most requested books are mystery, young adult fiction, science fiction and light hearted comedy or inspirational books. We also have a high need for materials in Spanish and large print.
