Denver Health Pulmonary and Critical Care is led by nationally and internationally recognized physician Dr. Ivor Douglas. This team includes physicians who have trained at worked at major institutions throughout the country and in Colorado. The team is active in research both at the bedside and in the lab. Members of the division regularly collaborate in research with colleagues at outside institutions including the University of Colorado Hospital and National Jewish Hospital.
Additionally, members of the division are committed to the education of the next generation of physicians by not only participating in clinical teaching but in curriculum as demonstrated by the presence of three associate program directors within the division faculty. The division staff all hold faculty appointments at the University of Colorado School of Medicine
Members of the Denver Health Division of Pulmonary Critical Care have distinguished themselves as outstanding clinicians and accomplished scientists. They combine science and knowledge with compassion to provide patients with the highest level of care both in the clinic and inpatient setting.
