The Behavioral Health Services Counselor Training Center offers many classes to meet specific requirements for both Colorado and national counselor certifications, as well as continuing education for professional development.
As derived by the competencies created by the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health, all required classes seek to enhance the ability of the counselor to offer treatment services in a manner that respects gender, race and ethnicity, sexual orientation, cultural, familial, systemic and socioeconomic diversity.
