The Office of Research will offer three skills-based research workshops in 2018 to further support the development of research staff.
The Pilot Study Research Grant program is intended to provide junior faculty/investigators (NIH Definition) employed by Denver Health with financial resources to support research-related activities directly connected to the submission of a proposal (or proposals) for external (extramural) research support. Each grant will be made as a one-year (12 month) award in the amount of $25,000.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE: Each award will support the acquisition of preliminary data needed to be competitive in obtaining extramural research funding.
Funding rounds will take place twice yearly, awarding three awards of up to $25,000 in each round. The duration of this funding opportunity will be three years, for a total of 18 awards.
