Denver voters approved ballot measure 2Q, an important step toward ensuring more sustainable funding for Denver Health. The 0.34% sales tax (just over 3 cents on every $10 purchase) will generate an estimated additional $70 million per year to support operational costs for the health care system.

Denver Health's coordinated response to the national IV fluid shortage continues to effectively minimize disruptions to patient care. Through thoughtful conservation strategies, the impact on daily operations has been kept to a minimum, with only three elective procedures temporarily postponed and soon to be rescheduled.
At this time, no additional patients should expect impacts to their care or procedure and treatment schedule.
