James Howell

James Howell

In 2003 I came to DHHA as a patient with Cluster Headaches presenting as Chronic Trigeminal Autonomic Cephalalgias. Working steadily with DHHA Department of Neurology and Primary Care Physician Dr. Nicole Joseph of the Eastside Family Health Center in April, 2016 we were able to successfully implement an effective Chronic Pain Management Treatment Protocol incorporating the dynamics of psychobiological mediation of nociception and pain perception.

As a member of the Board of Directors I am working in support of alternatives to opiate therapy in chronic pain management within the goal of a patient optimized experience by integrated medical and mental health diagnostic and treatment protocols.
