We offer the use of reconstructive microsurgery during several of our surgeries. This is a technique that uses the microscope to facilitate delicate reconnection of blood vessels and sometimes nerves.
The Plastic Surgery Service works together with Dermatology to treat skin cancers, such as basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, on the face. Once Dermatology has proven a skin lesion to be cancer by a biopsy, we can provide wide excision of the skin cancer.
