Medical Staff Services and Provider Enrollment Office
Our department supports almost 1700 Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Providers through comprehensive credentialing and privileging processes that ensure each provider meets the highest standards for delivering safe, high-quality care.
We serve as a key resource to the organized Medical Staff, offering guidance on bylaws, rules and regulations, departmental matters, and committee support.
The department also is responsible for Provider Enrollment across all commercial insurance plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid. In addition to enrolling medical staff, this includes managing the enrollment of over 300 billable providers at Denver Health who are not part of the medical staff.
All our work is performed in alignment with standards set by The Joint Commission, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) ensuring we maintain the highest levels of compliance, quality, and patient safety.
