Denver Health & Global Down Syndrome Foundation Adult Down Syndrome Clinic

Denver Health and the Global Down Syndrome Foundation have opened a clinic that will provide quality medical care to Colorado adults with Down syndrome. The clinic has Down syndrome expert – Dr. Barry Martin, M.D. – to address medical health concerns and Nina Cruchon, LCSW, to address behavioral health concerns on every Monday at the Denver Health Federico F. Peña Southwest Family Health Center and Urgent Care. Dr. Nicholas Breitnauer - an internal medicine/pediatrics specialist at Peña - will also be available to see patients throughout the week.

Right now, the clinic is open to Colorado residents only. At this time, we aim to prove the need for an excellent quality medical care center specifically for adults with Down syndrome. Pending the success of the clinic, Denver Health could establish a permanent Down syndrome clinic for adults. Please make your appointment today and help us ensure a healthier future for our patients.”
