Regional Emerging Special Pathogen Treatment Center

Denver Health & Hospital Authority (DHHA) was designated as a Regional Emerging Special Pathogens Treatment Center (RESPTC) in 2015 for the Department of Health & Human Services Region VIII. The 6-state region includes Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Utah. In this role, Denver Health is proud to serve the region as a resource for training and education, technical assistance support, and as a definitive care site for patients with a special pathogen their treatment.
