Denver Health plans to open the nonprofit health system’s 11th family health center next year, with the new location bringing high-quality care to southeast Denver. Denver Health has signed a letter of intent to enter into a lease agreement with AmCap Tiffany LLC for a property at Tiffany Plaza near Hampden Avenue and Tamarac Drive. 

The Denver Health Bariatric Surgery Center has been included in Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Weight Loss Clinics & Centers 2025.

Denver voters approved ballot measure 2Q, an important step toward ensuring more sustainable funding for Denver Health. The 0.34% sales tax (just over 3 cents on every $10 purchase) will generate an estimated additional $70 million per year to support operational costs for the health care system.

The new funding for Denver Health supports five areas: emergency and trauma care, primary medical care, mental health care, pediatric care and recovery support services.

The Department of Health and Human Services awarded Denver Community Health Services, the Federally Qualified Health Center component of Denver Health, a $1.28 million grant to fund the health system’s Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education (THCGME) program, making it the first program of its kind in Colorado.
